With Special Guests Denver Legend Wende Harsten singing some great double entendre blues tunes from the past, Tubist/Bassist Jeanie Schroder from DeVotchKa, and the Diamond Dolls Dance troop, this evening promises to be amazing! Tickets are $10 at the door. Show starts at 9 at the world famous Mercury Cafe . Y’all need to come down for this one!

The new band is… Gumbo le Funque! Funky-Dangerous Party Music!

Hello gang! I have the great pleasure of telling you about my new band, Gumbo le Funque! I think I finally found the sound I have been looking for. With the help of two of my oldest friends in music, Moses-the-boogie-woogie-king on keys and T-Bone on guitar, we are creating a sound that brings together Dr John style piano playing with Meter’s like funk. Throw in some traditional street beat and NOLA spice, and we have a Gumbo worth seeing! Here is a link to upcoming gigs!
